When re-entrants take a positive encouraging note, they replace it with one of their own. Each note is created by our re-entrants. Unique personality, perspectives, and opinions shine through. TLC's programming has a goal to create a positive, vibrant, and safe environment for our re-entrants.
TLC re-entrants participate in Programming Monday thru Thursday 9am-12pm. Programming consist of in-house groups and activities, community service/volunteer hours, as well as outside agencies who come into the facility to facilitate educational groups such as Women's Health, Physical Fitness, and Employment.

TLC works with re-entrants to develop resumes and strengthening interview skills by conducting mock interviews. TLC provides guidance for suitable employment opportunities.

The housing program is designed to teach re-entrants how to search for an apartment, what to expect when renting an apartment and how to understand rental agreements such as leases/subleases.
FINANCE

The finance group teaches budgeting, check writing, balancing a checkbook, and how to read a bank statement as well as credit scores. TLC has worked with the Covation Center utilizing "Financial Peace" by Dave Ramsey.

TLC works with River Valley Health and Dental Center, AIDS Resource, and River Valley Regional YMCA to provide educational groups on health & fitness.
All TLC re-entrants obtain a free membership to our local YMCA while they are a TLC re-entrant.

Community Interactions group reinforces values and social etiquette re-entrants will use to be a productive and respectful member of society.
TLC takes re-entrants on field trips to volunteer sites to apply these manners.

COMMUNITY INTERACTIONS
Self empowerment group covers several areas of personal growth. These groups change as the population of the center changes so that the current re-entrants needs are met. Some group topics covered in self empowerment groups include: relapse prevention, S.M.A.R.T, goal planning, computer and technology workshops, and individualized programming for areas re-entrants would like to work on in more depth.
